Shining Bright Star EP released 16th April 2007

The Shining Bright Star EP is the first single taken from Black Strobe’s debut album. Produced by Paul Epworth (Bloc Party, The Rapture) and mixed by Alan Moulder (Nine Inch Nails, My Bloody Valentine) Shining Bright Star is a dark and thunderous disco-punk anthem full of electronic twists and Big Black bass-lines that has found fans at Radio 1, XFM and Mixmag amongst others.

The band recently took over Room 2 at Fabric Club, London, where they showcased this single live with Oliver Huntemann playing his remix as part of a DJ set. The live show, Oliver Huntemanns and Ivan Smagghe and Andrew Weatherall’s DJ set will all be available on the Black Strobe pod-cast imminently so make sure you sign up today.
